Full-Time DevOps Engineer

Agile Defense is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a growing team in the federal sector.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the entire lifecycle of services, from inception to refinement.
• Write code, build infrastructure using code, work with cloud environments, and develop automated tools for testing and deployment.
• Design and implement strategies for continuous deployments with high availability.
• Maintain live services by monitoring availability, latency, and system health.
• Develop strategies, tools, and frameworks for automating service and product testing, best practices for test automation, and test suites.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions based on enterprise standards and processes.
• Develop and provide training as needed.
• Develop technical documentation as needed.

Required Qualifications

• BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines (Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.), infrastructure development (AWS, Cloud Formation, Terraform, RDS), Windows build automation, and Windows system administration.
• 4+ years of experience with revision control (Git, SVN).
• 4+ years of experience with programming languages and technologies.
• 4+ years of experience with three-tier enterprise application architectures.
• 4+ years of experience with Linux system administration and scripting in a cloud environment.
• 4+ years of experience with automating processes using scripting languages (Ruby, Bash, Python).
• US citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

• DHS/USCIS experience.
