Bydrec is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our systems and infrastructure. Responsibilities
- AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, highly available, and secure AWS infrastructure.
- Kubernetes Administration: Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate containerized applications.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to automate the provisioning of cloud resources.
- Scripting and Automation: Utilize Python for automation tasks, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as CircleCI.
- Code Quality and Security: Implement and maintain SonarQube for continuous code quality and security analysis.
- Migration Projects: Lead cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transition of services.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of DevOps engineers, promoting best practices and continuous learning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve productivity.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor infrastructure and application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions proactively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in a DevOps role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation).
- Proficient in managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with CircleCI or similar CI/CD tools.
- Experience with SonarQube for code quality and security analysis.
- Proven track record of leading successful cloud migration projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar certifications.
Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of other scripting languages (e.g., Bash), and experience with other cloud providers (e.g., GCP, Azure).
