DRW is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join Cumberland's blockchain product development team.
This role is responsible for building and supporting highly available systems for on-chain application infrastructure. Key responsibilities include designing systems leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Python, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Participate in designing and supporting highly available systems.
- Advance infrastructure development on Kubernetes.
- Enhance monitoring infrastructure with Prometheus, Grafana, and industry-standard tools.
- Improve CI/CD processes with declarative configuration.
- Create repeatable patterns for local development to production migration.
- Support and enhance highly available database architecture.
- Build and enhance DevOps team tooling.
- Research and implement new technologies.
- Challenge existing norms and advocate for positive change.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience supporting mission-critical, high-performance applications.
- AWS, EKS, and Terraform experience.
- Exposure to Auth0.
- Kubernetes deployment and support.
- Prometheus and Grafana monitoring.
- Developed CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes.
- Strong Python skills.
- Database support for high-availability systems.
- Linux platform support experience.
- Basic TLS knowledge.
- Network communication experience (multicast, gRPC, WebSockets).
- Flexibility to handle off-hours support.
- Ability to learn quickly, embrace new technologies, demonstrate ownership, and manage pressure.
- Strong organizational skills, including planning, prioritization, and documentation.
- Exposure to cryptoasset infrastructure and on-chain applications (preferred).
Compensation: $175,000 - $225,000 base salary + bonus.
