ENS (Ethereum Name Service) is a decentralized naming system that links human-readable names to Ethereum addresses.
ENS Labs drives the core development of the ENS protocol, creating the ENS app, libraries, and smart contracts.
About the RoleENS Labs seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to operate the infrastructure that makes ENS resolve quickly and reliably across chains. Responsibilities include infra management, automation/CI/CD, observability, and security.
What You’ll Do- Infrastructure management: Plan, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), including Kubernetes cluster management and container orchestration.
- Automation & CI/CD: Own GitHub Actions pipelines; create/maintain Infrastructure as Code; automate builds/tests/deploys.
- Core ENS services: Operate metadata service, CCIP-Read gateways, multichain indexers, and Namechain/L2 nodes.
- Reliability, security, and collaboration: Instrument metrics, build alerts/dashboards, lead incident response, enforce least-privilege access.
- 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/Infra running production systems (Kubernetes/containers) on AWS and/or GCP
- Strong CI/CD with GitHub Actions; hands-on with IaC (Terraform/Pulumi/Ansible)
- Automation in TypeScript/Node, Python, or Go
- Observability experience (Prometheus/Grafana + centralized logging)
- Familiar with Ethereum/L2 concepts and operating nodes/RPC-driven services
- Shipped or contributed to ENS, CCIP-Read gateways, ENSNode/ENSIndexer
- Hands-on with zkEVM/rollups, prover/verification infra, or cross-chain messaging
