The DevOps Engineer is a technical position that requires experience with and passion for DevSecOps projects. The Experian Health DevOps team has a need for a DevOps Engineer to support the modernization and migration of CI/CD tooling from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based solutions. You will be involved in the evaluation, configuration, and adoption of cloud-native tools as part of our broader cloud transformation.
The DevOps team owns Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Development, and Operational Support for Experian Health. In addition to these responsibilities, the team also supports the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) across multiple development teams and products.
We are responsible for the following:
- Software development tools:
- Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Slack
- Repositories: Bitbucket, GitHub, Artifactory
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Harness, and Octopus Deploy
- Observability: Splunk, Cribl, Sysdig, and Dynatrace
- Container Orchestration: EKS
- CloudOperations: AWS
You will:
- Be self-motivated, collaborative, and have experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud automation
- Help with the evaluation and implementation of cloud-hosted DevOps tools, with a focus on GitHub, Artifactory Cloud, and Octopus Deploy Cloud
- Migrate and refactor CI/CD pipelines to support cloud-native architectures and modern development practices
- Write Infrastructure-as-Code and automation scripts to enable scalable DevOps workflows
- Participate in knowledge-sharing and mentoring around CI/CD tools and practices
- Help define repeatable patterns and tooling standards to accelerate DevOps modernization across teams
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience migrating DevOps tooling from on-prem to cloud
- Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise administration and GitHub Actions
- Exposure to Artifactory Cloud and binary lifecycle management
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines for Windows-based applications
- Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
- Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
