Full-Time DevOps Engineer

Fruitist is a modern food company revolutionizing snacking. With over $1B in lifetime sales and $400M in revenue, we're building a lasting brand at the intersection of health, sustainability, and innovation.

We're seeking DevOps Engineers to help lead the way. Reporting to the CTO, you'll work closely with development teams to accelerate delivery, improve code quality and security, and streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in coding, development, and deployment to enhance agricultural technology workflows.
• Collaborate in planning to improve delivery timelines, code quality, and process efficiency across precision farming tools.
• Create and enforce coding standards, automating processes to streamline data-driven agricultural operations.
• Manage development and production environments, track metrics, and address incidents for smooth operations.
• Develop expertise in platform configuration management and troubleshooting for scalable farming solutions.
• Deploy applications across cloud and on-prem environments, supporting sustainable farming practices.
• Partner with developers and technical teams to identify and address coding and development weaknesses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integrated, innovative agricultural solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Mathematics/Statistics background a plus)
• 4-5 years proven coding and scripting skills (Bash, Shell)
• Experience implementing large-scale cloud architectures on modern platforms
• Expertise in automating infrastructure provisioning (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform)
• In-depth knowledge of on-prem and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, OpenShift)
• Solid experience with continuous integration (Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, Sonar)
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to process complex information clearly
