Job Details
HappyCo is looking for a DevOps Engineer to shape and scale systems, ensuring reliability and security. You'll work with developers, providing tools and automation for best practices. Key focus: improving developer experience.
- Design and maintain infrastructure.
- Build deployment pipelines.
- Enable teams to deliver value faster.
First 90 Days:
- 30 days: Learn infrastructure, CI/CD, deployment.
- 60 days: Improve Terraform, Spacelift, GitLab pipelines.
- 90 days: Own infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, suggest improvements.
Looking for:
- DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
- Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
- CI/CD systems (GitLab CI/CD and Spacelift).
- Bazel for build processes.
- ArgoCD for GitOps.
- GCP, GKE, container orchestration, and Linux.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Honeycomb, Sentry).
- Security best practices.
- PostgreSQL administration.
- Backend development in GoLang or Ruby.
