Job Summary
The DevOps Engineer implements and maintains infrastructure & deployment processes. Collaborates with development and operations teams for smooth product delivery.
Essential Functions
- Design and implement scalable, reliable infrastructure for development & deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure, configuration, and application deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems for high availability & performance.
- Implement & maintain security best practices for infrastructure & applications (DevSecOps).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
- Stay updated on DevOps & cloud technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience (product-focused preferred).
- Cloud platform expertise (AWS or Azure required).
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform required).
- Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes).
- GitOps experience (ArgoCD or Flux).
- Configuration management tools (Ansible preferred).
- Linux administration experience (Redhat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux).
- CI/CD principles & tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Go).
- Monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, & collaboration skills.
Nice to Have:
- AWS, Azure, Terraform, Networking certifications.
- RHCSA, RHCE, RHCA certifications.
- Experience with OpenShift, RKE, Tanzu, or equivalent.
