Summary Description: We seek an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize our Windows-based Genesys Latitude application in AWS. The role focuses on automation, scalability, and security, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), deployments, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Administer and optimize Windows-based systems in AWS for reliability and performance.
- Manage SQL Server databases in AWS, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Automate deployment pipelines and workflows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, application, and database issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement security best practices.
- Continuously improve system performance and deployment processes.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Experience managing MS SQL Server in AWS.
- Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong experience managing and automating Windows-based systems in AWS.
- Experience managing security and compliance on Windows machines in AWS.
Skills & Experience:
- Agile methodologies, Kanban
- High-velocity environments (frequent deployments, infrastructure changes)
- Tech stack: AWS, Terraform, Ansible
- DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, version control (GitHub, BuildKite)
- Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Go
- Monitoring and Logging: AWS CloudWatch, Grafana
- Ownership: driving infrastructure projects from concept to deployment
- Communication: discussing complex ideas with stakeholders
- Decision-making: balancing trade-offs and prioritizing tasks
