The Role: We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Platform Tribe.
You’ll work on scaling infrastructure, automating systems, and continuously improving how we build and release. Over time, you’ll rotate through different squads, gaining exposure to diverse technologies and challenges.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and Scale Infrastructure: Work across AWS, GCP, GCore, and Cloudflare to help scale the hybrid systems that power our AI workloads.
- Support GPU Optimisation: Contribute to scaling and tuning GPU infrastructure for AI model training and inference.
- Improve CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance our pipelines.
- Strengthen Observability: Help improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Contribute to Integration Projects: Work with Canva engineers to align infrastructure systems and adopt shared tooling.
- Uphold DevOps Best Practices: Maintain documentation, reusable standards, and workflows.
- Keep Learning and Sharing: Participate in DevOps Guilds and innovation sessions.
Skills We Love:
- Experience working with AWS services (ECS, EC2, S3, IAM) and exposure to multi-cloud environments like GCP, GCore, or Cloudflare.
- Practical experience using Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Familiarity with building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of Linux, containerisation, and cloud networking fundamentals.
