Main Sail is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a leading data protection software company in automating, managing, and optimizing their development and deployment processes. This role involves building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the secure, reliable delivery of applications. You will work closely with development, QA, and security teams to enhance software delivery and infrastructure management.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployments across multiple environments.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), ensuring scalability, security, and high availability of applications.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing, security scanning, and monitoring into the deployment process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, optimizing performance and minimizing downtime.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Proficiency in DevOps tools and technologies, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Experience with automation scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Solid understanding of security best practices in DevOps, including access controls, vulnerability scanning, and compliance management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
