Mob Entertainment is seeking a Junior or Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our growing Developer Operations team. This role will directly support the infrastructure, tooling, and workflows that power development.
You’ll work alongside our lead DevOps engineer to maintain, scale, and improve our build and deployment pipelines, reduce iteration times, and unlock greater velocity for all development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, including automation for build generation, testing, and deployment.
- Assist with managing Perforce source control, including branching strategies, access, and sync issues.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve build stability, lighting compilation, and packaging workflows.
- Work closely with the Lead DevOps Engineer to implement systems such as Gauntlet, UGS, or similar tools.
- Help deliver builds to QA and production teams with consistency and minimal turnaround time.
- Proactively identify workflow bottlenecks and contribute to new tooling or automation.
- Support studio cybersecurity readiness and incident response processes.
Requirements:
- 1–4 years of experience in a DevOps role.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with Unreal Engine.
- Experience with Perforce or other VCS tools.
- Familiarity with build pipelines, packaging systems, and engine-specific data compilation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Pluses:
- Experience supporting Unreal Engine build systems.
- Familiarity with UGS or similar tools.
Performance Expectations:
- Increase studio build reliability and speed.
- Help create redundancy in DevOps support.
- Maintain clear documentation, clean build logs, and accessible tools.
