Full-Time DevOps Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Coordinate with departments on project goals
• Infrastructure as a service automation development
• Technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Identify bottlenecks and improve workflows
• Resolve technical issues, analyze root cause, and determine corrective actions
• Research new tools to improve processes
• Work closely with infrastructure teams
• Help move content from development to production efficiently
• Participate in on-call rotation

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years experience with Ansible, Tower, or AWX
• 3-5+ years experience with Python
• 3-5+ years experience supporting corporate IT infrastructure
• 3-5+ years experience with VMware and/or OpenStack
• 3-5+ years experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
• Excellent communication skills (technical and non-technical)
• Self-motivated, proactive, and independent

Nice to Have

• 3+ years experience with Chef, Puppet, Swarm, Kubernetes, Helm
• 3+ years experience with Hashicorp tools (Terraform, Vault, Consul, Nomad)
• Experience migrating workloads from Swarm to Kubernetes
• Experience connecting an SDDC to an AWS VPC
