Full-Time DevOps Engineer

Role Overview: Manage the transition between project planning and software deployment. Design and implement robust DevOps pipelines for automated software delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to optimize code deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Forecast project duration and cost.
• Contribute expertise on information system options, risk, and operational impact.
• Manage solution installation and configuration.
• Collaborate with developers on software requirements and test data analysis.
• Consult with management on operational software requirements.
• Design interface simulators and automated module deployments.
• Complete code and script updates, and resolve product implementation errors.
• Oversee routine maintenance, and perform diagnostic tests.
• Document processes and monitor performance metrics.
• Apply best practices in network administration and cybersecurity.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on automation, continuous integration, and deployment.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure.
• Ability to install/configure software, gather test data, and debug issues.
• Experience in managing highly available applications and infrastructure on Azure.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure spanning multiple accounts, regions, and availability zones.
• Proficiency in modern systems management and infrastructure automation tooling (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience creating custom scripts in PowerShell.
• Comfortable using Git, applying CI/CD principles to infrastructure builds and deployments.
• Cloud networking and security experience.
• Knowledge of Docker, container-based technologies, and CI/CD tools.
• Drive to improve processes and practices within the team.
• Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology, or similar.
