About the role: We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team and help us enhance the efficiency and scalability of our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux, Kubernetes, OpenStack, and GCP, with a proven track record of managing infrastructure at scale and handling traffic and real-life transactions.
Job Description
About your tasks:
- Collaborate with the team to design, build, and maintain a robust and scalable infrastructure that can handle high levels of traffic and real-time transactions.
- Manage and optimize Linux-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate containers and maintain containerized applications effectively.
- Work with OpenStack and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies to manage and improve our cloud infrastructure.
- Implement automation tools and scripts for provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to streamline operations.
- Set up and maintain monitoring systems to ensure the health and security of the infrastructure.
- Respond to and mitigate security threats as needed.
Qualifications
About you:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a senior role, ideally in a high-traffic, operational environment.
- Strong expertise in Linux administration and shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
