Full-Time DevOps Engineer

Resend is rapidly growing and scaling its infrastructure to support millions of emails daily. You'll join a passionate engineering team building a reliable and scalable platform.

Responsibilities:

• Define architecture to support millions of daily API requests.
• Improve high availability across multiple cloud providers, primarily AWS.
• Drive long-term infrastructure strategy for growth.
• Scale databases (Postgres, Clickhouse) for optimal performance.
• Enhance observability using monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Design CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery.
• Refine disaster recovery plans for quick recovery.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or SRE.
• Deep experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation).
• Excellent English communication (written & verbal).
• Experience working in the Americas/Europe timezone.
• Strong collaborative mindset and a helpful attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of email best practices or willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (CDK, Terraform, Pulumi).
• Experience architecting and scaling distributed systems on AWS.
• Experience with Node.js and Serverless architecture.
