The RoleSimplePractice seeks an experienced and innovative DevOps engineer with AWS experience. The DevOps engineer will work closely with infrastructure and development teams to maintain and administer multiple products in our AWS cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Deliver DevOps stories and tasks timely, ensuring quality and security of each release.
- Build, configure, and improve infrastructure using configuration tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Maintain and configure infrastructure elements.
- Maintain and configure containers.
- Work closely with the Lead DBA to maintain and administer the MySQL database.
- Collaborate with information security and compliance teams to mitigate vulnerabilities, harden systems, and maintain compliance with HITRUST CSF and PCI.
- Work with Data Engineering and Science teams to implement the latest data platform and services.
Key Qualifications
- AWS cloud experience (console and CLI)
- Solid Linux knowledge
- Basic knowledge of a programming language (Ruby, Python, Bash)
- Basic knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL)
- Experience with containerization platforms and tools
- IaC knowledge (Terraform, CloudFormation)
