Job Details
Lead high-level DevOps activities, including infrastructure design, automation, and cloud solutions.
Act as a subject matter expert in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and containerization.
Conduct technical audits and propose optimizations for existing infrastructures.
Assist with hotfixes and critical issue resolution across projects.
Participate in troubleshooting and improving system scalability, security, and performance.
Collaborate with sales teams on proposals for potential clients.
Take part in estimations, defining the scope and technical feasibility of projects.
Design and present business-oriented DevOps solutions to clients.
Contribute to service offering development, shaping innovative DevOps approaches.
Mentor and consult less experienced DevOps engineers and managers.
Organize and drive internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and best practice adoption.
Conduct technical interviews and evaluate candidates for DevOps roles.
Represent the company at industry conferences and tech events.
Contribute to whitepapers, blogs, and technical presentations.
Support and maintain partnerships with cloud providers and technology vendors.
Continuously improve DevOps processes across the company.
Ensure adherence to best practices in infrastructure as code, automation, and security compliance.
Evaluate new tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with at least 3 years in a leadership or Principal role.
- Proven ability to design and implement DevOps strategies for large-scale systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Experience in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, etc.
- Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and compliance standards.
- Ability to present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in English and Ukrainian (spoken and written).
- Plus: Experience working in a pre-sales or consulting environment.
