Full-Time Director, Compliance

• Provide technical expertise and strategic direction to project teams, ensuring alignment with the adopted company compliance policies.
• Foster a culture of compliance by solving construction and operational challenges proactively.
• Identify and communicate potential compliance risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.

• Ensuring compliance with permits and conditions.
• Promote a culture of compliance excellence.
• Manage and lead the review and implementation of permits.
• Develop and manage internal procedures for timely reports.
• Develop metrics and tools to track Key Performance Indicators.
• Implement training tools to support construction and operations teams.
• Oversee site environmental incident investigations.
• Conduct compliance audits.
• Maintain clear communication as pertaining to environmental compliance.
• Participate in project permitting strategy.
• Oversee field environmental compliance specialists.

• Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in environmental science, engineering, juris doctorate or related field; master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of compliance program experience with renewable energy projects.
• Expertise with the Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, and other environmental regulations.
• Experience managing staff.
• Adept at problem-solving and communication.
