Full-Time Director, Engineering - Finance Systems

• Ensures stability during transition and prepares for modernization.
• Guides evolution of financial systems to maximize business value.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead engineering delivery and support for financial systems.
2. Ensure system stability and performance during transition.
3. Oversee solution design and architecture.
4. Guide engineering teams and vendor partners.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology roadmaps.
6. Establish best practices for system design and support.
7. Evaluate emerging technologies and platforms.
8. Deliver clear communications on program status and risks.
9. Drive planning and execution of future system transformations.
10. Ensure cost-effective financial system investments.

Basic Requirements:

• 10+ years of ERP Finance systems experience, 5+ years in technical leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience leading engineering teams responsible for enterprise financial systems.
• Deep understanding of SAP Suite on HANA (SoH) and related modules.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP ABAP development.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven track record in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience with non-ERP financial applications.
• Ability to manage third-party vendors and partners.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent collaboration and influencing abilities.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
