We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Director, Medical for our medical team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical science, excellent communication skills, and a passion for translating complex medical information into impactful advertising.
Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing all medical content, ensuring scientific accuracy.
- Collaborating with creative and account teams to develop effective campaigns.
- Consulting with Creative, Account, and Planning teams to develop compelling medical content across all digital and print media.
- Identifying new medical advances and opportunities, and implementing disease state knowledge to drive promotional efforts.
- Analyzing clinical data, conducting literature searches, participating in medical conferences and performing competitive analyses.
- Engaging and informing colleagues, healthcare professionals and clients.
- Collaborating in the development of EVERSANA INTOUCH POVs and recommendations with clients.
- Ensuring medical communications and promotional pieces meet and surpass marketing team objectives.
- Guiding the creation of clinically cogent and engaging promotional and KOL materials while ensuring effective use of clinical data to reach strategic brand objectives.
- Improving medical literacy across contributing agency teams; providing medical understanding on disease states, clinical trials, treatments and competition.
- Guiding submissions for client medical/regulatory approval processes.
- Demonstrating a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- M.D., Ph.D. or Pharm.D. required with 5+ years of experience.
- A passion for science, medicine, and innovation.
- Proven track record of communicating medical advances to different audiences.
- Ability to lead and execute development of content.
- Understanding of clinical practice, with the ability to perform scientific literature searches.
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.
- Insightful data analysis and accomplished presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with FDA marketing regulations, AMA style and digital best practices.
- Willingness to travel.
