Director of DevOps

This role leads infrastructure and DevOps initiatives for a global SaaS platform. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for building resilient systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor DevOps and system administration teams.
• Define and execute the DevOps strategy across the product suite (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, release management).
• Ensure operations across multiple cloud and hosting environments are consistent and available.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve operations reliability and scalability.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in security, automation, monitoring, and incident response.
• Champion cost optimization, capacity planning, and future scalability.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and security standards.
• Lead incident response and post-mortem processes.
• Define and track KPIs for infrastructure reliability.
• Manage vendor relationships (cloud providers, DevOps tools).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong experience leading teams supporting AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience building and managing large-scale cloud platforms.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Understanding of modern DevOps practices, SRE, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with hybrid hosting (cloud, on-premise, private cloud).
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Fluency in English.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks (preferred).
