Job Details
The Director of PMO ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Emphasis is on estimation and scope definition, partnering with Business Development, PS Solutions, and Customer Service Leads.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Establish best practices for project estimation and scope management. Promote accountability and continuous improvement.
- Estimation and Scope Definition: Develop frameworks for accurate project estimations (timelines, budgets, resources). Refine scope definition processes. Implement tools for accurate forecasts.
- Governance and Oversight: Establish governance structures to monitor scope, schedule, and budget. Provide oversight of project portfolios, addressing risks and deviations.
- Team Leadership: Champion project management best practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Define project goals and deliverables with department heads and stakeholders. Provide clear communication on project performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Technology and Tools: Implement PM tools. Drive adoption of technology for data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications include:
- College degree
- Clear communication skills
- Cross-functional team player
- Understanding of D365, Smartsheet, Power BI
- Project management best practices knowledge
- Pharmaceutical industry experience
Preferred Qualifications include:
- Salesforce knowledge
- PMI certification
- Project burn and financial understanding
Expectations include less than 25% travel and 40-50 hours/week.
Physical/Mental Demands include office environment, frequent interruptions, and multiple demands.
Compensation is $148,000 - $160,000 (US only).
