Fandango360 is a marketing data SaaS product used by major movie studios. As a Software Engineering Director, lead a team to develop new features and product enhancements. Projects focus on privacy-safe marketing technology, clean room technology, and advanced first-party data utilization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development for studio insights product offerings.
- Own internal APIs and external integrations (social/ad networks).
- Architect and evaluate Big Data solutions with Data Engineering.
- Collaborate with Product and business stakeholders for successful execution.
- Translate business ideas into technical solutions and provide strategic guidance.
- Enhance recommender systems, customer scoring, NLP models, and forecasting models with Data Engineering and Data Science.
- Provide leadership and guidance for the team.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, legal, and privacy teams.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Deep understanding of web & API design patterns
- Experience with Serverless REST API development (AWS Lambda, Cognito, API Gateway)
- Experience with Batch job development and coordination (AWS Batch, Step Functions)
- Experience with Elastic Search, SQL, and Database Technologies
- Experience with JavaScript, ES6, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS3
- Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies, infrastructure, and technical security
Desired Characteristics:
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
- Ability to lead, motivate, and build a high-functioning agile team
- Experience organizing work and managing multiple priorities
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
- Experience with Angular or other modern front-end frameworks/libraries
Fully Remote: This role is fully remote.
Salary Range: $200,000-$220,000 (Bonus Eligible)
