The role is focused on optimizing enterprise processes within the designated domain by applying expert knowledge and skills to advance the strategic objectives of the domain. This position translates business needs into scalable architectural solutions that align with performance, reliability, and security standards. The individual will work with enterprise roadmaps, principles, and best practices to ensure successful domain strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design & Strategy
Lead the development of domain architecture models and viewpoints that represent current, target, and interim states. Analyze pain points and opportunities for optimization based on current-state evaluations. Work on advanced modeling to meet strategic needs, addressing system, information, and functional requirements, along with performance and security standards. Ensure alignment of domain architecture with IT strategies and reference architectures. - Solution Development & Implementation
Drive the design and implementation of internal solutions to improve overall quality and performance. Lead peer reviews and represent the domain architecture during internal briefings. Oversee the maintenance of architecture viewpoints and related work products, ensuring they are accurate, well-organized, and accessible. - Stakeholder Collaboration & Problem-Solving
Collaborate with business and technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to understand the needs and requirements of each project. Work to resolve any limitations or challenges related to architectural design and ensure alignment with overall business and IT goals. - Market Research & Trend Analysis
Conduct research into emerging trends within the domain to assess their potential relevance and applicability to the organization s strategic goals. - Vendor Selection & Management
Lead the vendor selection process for tools and solutions related to the domain. Manage the creation of RFIs/RFPs and the evaluation of vendor proposals, ensuring alignment with architectural needs and business requirements. - Methodology & Process Development
Lead the enhancement of domain-specific methods and tools. Ensure the integration of architecture processes across multiple domains and the SDLC. Provide training and materials to educate stakeholders on architecture best practices. - Reporting & Planning
Lead complex domain assessments, contributing to resource estimation, annual planning, and alignment with IT strategy. Regularly report on progress, potential issues, and opportunities to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 4 additional years of relevant work experience are required. - Experience:
10+ years of experience in a related architecture domain. - Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field.

- Ability to coach and mentor architects and engineers.
