We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager, E-commerce & Development Projects to join our E-Commerce team at Techo-Bloc. As a Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and implementation of our eCommerce platform, ensuring robust performance and scalability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where innovation and creativity thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the relationship with a development agency, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Validate and vet estimates, pricing, and strategic proposals provided by the agency development team, ensuring alignment with project goals, budget constraints, and quality standards.
- Manage the project scope and implementation of the project deliverables with the project resources throughout the project lifecycle. Monitor project progress and movement between phases and reporting status of the project back to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development process.
- Develop and utilize throughout the project implementation the required project documentation, including project plan, charter, risk and issues documents, progress tracking, post-implementation review, and project and staff communications.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, using them to make recommendations to improve our E-commerce ecosystem.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (4 years) in leading eCommerce development projects from inception to delivery.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React, or similar technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
