Job Details
Think Academy U.S. is looking for a Remote Advanced Competition Math Teacher to work with students from 3rd to 5th grade.
What You Will Do:
- Teach competition level higher elementary mathematics virtually.
- Actively engage and manage an online classroom of up to 18 students.
- Prepare and deliver lessons using Think Academy's curriculum.
- Grade homework and provide teaching-related services.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents.
- Typically work 30-40 hours per week during weekends or weekday afternoons.
How You Can Be Qualified:
- Bachelor’s degree or above (all majors welcome, STEM preferred).
- Math competition learning or teaching experience is a plus.
- High-energy, enthusiastic, and charismatic.
- Can commit to more than two semesters of teaching.
- Available and willing to work during weekday evenings and weekends.
- Super passionate about teaching and education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Structure:
- Teaching Hours: $30-$35/hr
- Administrative Hours: $16-$20/hr
- Yearly Salary Estimate: $40,000-$50,000
- Opportunity for a 15% bonus per semester
- Potential for a $0-$5 Teaching Hour increase per semester based on performance
