Full-Time Email Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Email Systems Engineer with a DevOps mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, optimize, and scale email infrastructure (SMTP, IMAP, Postfix, Haraka).
• Ensure high deliverability rates and maintain reliability and security of email systems.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate and innovate email-related solutions and contribute to platform scalability.
• Design, implement, and maintain email server infrastructure (Postfix, Haraka).
• Manage email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3).
• Implement and optimize email authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Support the Dev team with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot email deliverability issues.
• Ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
• Automate routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintain system configurations, processes, and best practices documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and propose improvements.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with email systems (Postfix, Haraka, Dovecot, Cyrus, SMTP, IMAP).
• Proficiency in Linux server administration.
• Experience with DNS management (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
• Knowledge of email deliverability, reputation monitoring, and anti-spam measures.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
• Programming/scripting skills in Python.
• Understanding of database management systems (PostgreSQL).
