About the Program: Airbnb is seeking Engineering Apprentices for our 2025 Connect Apprenticeship Program from April 21, 2025 - October 31, 2025. The program is for individuals with a non-traditional technical background who are ready to start a career as a software engineer.

Program Highlights:

• Technical instruction from expert Airbnb engineers.
• Placement on an engineering team to work on real projects.
• Support from mentors and teammates.
• Evaluation for a full-time Associate Engineer position at the end of the program.

Typical Day:

• Participate in live technical instruction.
• Complete self-directed learning activities.
• Collaborate with technical educators and engineers.
• Communicate with team and stakeholders.
• Make impactful task and project contributions.
• Seek, learn from, and provide feedback.
• Participate in the Connect, Engineering, and Airbnb community.

Requirements:

• Less than one year of professional software engineering experience.
• No 4-year degree in Computer Science.
• Coding skills acquired through online courses, bootcamps, or self-taught.
• Knowledge of basic functions, control flow, and technical frameworks.
• Ability to convert problems to code and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to collaborate effectively.
• Work authorization for employment in the United States.
