OpenX seeks a Director, Engineering with experience in the ad tech programmatic ecosystem to lead multiple engineering teams focused on building and scaling AI-powered products.
This is a strategic leadership role within the Outcomes and Optimizations organization, responsible for driving the technical direction and delivery of AI-centric solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the O&O technical strategy and vision.
- Lead multiple high-performing engineering teams.
- Collaborate with Data Science leadership to translate research and models into production-grade systems.
- Ensure technical excellence.
- Foster a strong engineering culture.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership.
- Partner with business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering.
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years leading multiple engineering teams.
- Prior experience in the ad tech ecosystem.
- Proven track record of delivering complex AI/ML-driven products.
- Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience managing large codebases.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Experience with modern languages and frameworks.
- Experience partnering with Data Science and Product teams.
