Accor is seeking a new Engineering Director to lead the EPMS (Engineering Property Management Services) international offering. Reporting to the VP of Design & Technical Services PME Global, the Director will oversee the deployment of maintenance and energy services across the hotel network.
This role will focus on services for hotel owners and general managers, collaborating with internal departments (Development, Legal, Operations, Marketing, etc.), and delivered through external consultants and Corporate/Regional specialists.
The role requires ensuring the 6 D&TS Regions, Accor internal departments, and third parties operate EPMS in compliance with all regulations and with integrity. The Director will also align EPMS with the Group's decarbonization strategy and the company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer Management: steer the EPMS department
- Activity Management: Oversee EPMS activities from deployment to expansion, making quick, sound decisions under pressure.
- Change Management: Lead the transition from asset-based to asset-light D&TS activities.
- Organizational Awareness: Maintain awareness of organizational structure and goals, promoting ideas and establishing connections.
- Operational Optimization: Advocate for, explore, and evaluate new operating philosophies and procedures.
- Strategic Orientation: Select appropriate tactics and communicate them to top management.
- Financial Management: Enhance financial oversight through KPIs and P&L steering.
- Activity Reporting: Report key activity KPIs to top management.
- International network Management: Manage and guide 6 regions, third parties, and internal departments.
- People Development: Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
- Owner Value Proposition: Identify and assess hotel owner/GM needs, developing the Owner Value Proposition.
- Internal Promotion: Promote the offer within Accor.
- Commercial Awareness: Maintain knowledge of the competitive landscape, recognize new opportunities, and target clients for EPMS.
- Engineering services: develop maintenance standards, lead R&D for new products, seek opportunities with associations, and collaborate with purchasing for partnerships
- Catalog of services: Develop and update the EPMS catalog to meet engineering needs.
- Service Delivery: Assist hotels with EPMS implementation, energy/water/waste/emissions reduction, emergency response.
- Partnerships: Review and assess the quality of third-party reports.
