Full-Time Engineering Manager, AI Platform

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our AI Platform team. This team is dedicated to building the AI experience for our engineers. The team is responsible for the foundational primitives that empower our developers.

What you'll do as an Engineering Manager:

• Coach, mentor, and create an environment where your team can do their best work.
• Set direction and guide technical strategy.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand developer needs.
• Champion best practices for AI quality and AI operations.

How to be successful in this role:

• 2+ years managing technical teams of 6+ engineers.
• Direct experience managing ML and applied engineering teams.
• Proven track record as an engineer, building AI/ML Platforms.
• Deep knowledge of data flywheels, evals, and quality hill-climbing.
• Strong leadership abilities in hiring, mentoring, and growing senior engineers.
• Excellent communication skills to build consensus.
• Pragmatism and scrappiness, knowing when to build vs buy.
