About the Team: The Frontend Platform team is responsible for all frontend applications, libraries, tooling, and infrastructure for Bestow. We serve employees, consumers, and enterprise customers. We integrate and manage many third-party products.
What You'll Do:
- Work with other engineering teams, product, design, TPM, and external stakeholders to introduce new customer-facing platform features and support existing products.
- Mentor and drive engineering best practices within a distributed team.
- Assist in setting the roadmap for team deliverables.
- Drive delivery of high-quality product initiatives and engineering improvements.
- Work with the team to identify, scope, and schedule improvements to the frontend platform.
- Communicate complex systems and requirements to non-technical partners.
- Participate in system design, code reviews, incident investigations, and contribute code.
- Be data-driven in engineering management practices, fostering continuous improvement.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years experience developing software, with at least 1 year of prior management experience.
- Highly proficient in modern frontend technologies (React, NextJS/Remix, Node.js, unit/E2E testing frameworks).
- Deep understanding of the entire software development lifecycle (feature inception, GenAI, continuous delivery, release strategies).
- Ability to track key metrics and meet SLAs.
- Ability to understand complex technical problems and identify risk areas.
- Ability to contribute changes to the team's codebases.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proven track record of building and retaining high-performing teams.
