Full-Time Engineering Manager

Job Summary: In this role, you will lead engineering operations, ensuring projects meet deadlines and quality standards. You will use agile methodologies (sprint planning, daily check-ins, retrospectives), collaborating with the Director of Environment to align on product goals and user needs, and the AI/ML team for prioritizing, monitoring progress, and making key decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring teams meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
• Managing and facilitating an agile process, including participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Close collaboration with the Director of Environment to understand product and feature requirements, as well as user needs.
• Managing resource allocation for timely feature delivery.
• Coordination with the Tech Lead and AI/ML Engineer on refining product priorities, tracking progress, and evaluating trade-offs.
• Managing a team of engineers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in modern C++.
• Strong experience in computer graphics, computer vision, or visual computing.
• Experience with procedural modeling techniques.
