About Stellar Health: At Stellar Health, we help primary care providers put patient health first. Our platform supports providers at the point of care, delivering real-time patient information.
We are looking for an Engineering Manager who can balance both technical contributions and people management. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering leadership to drive the overall technical direction of the Platform team.
Your mission will be to provide Stellar with cutting-edge, reliable infrastructure for ingesting, storing, processing, and extracting valuable insights from data.
The Platform team handles external integrations, data ingestion, normalization and transformation. In partnership with our technical implementation and analytics teams, it also owns data quality, performance measurement and enables advanced analytics and data science applications.
What you’ll do:
- Own the technical direction and impact of the Platform team.
- Manage and grow the team.
- Write production quality code and provide effective and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to Stellar’s Engineering Culture.
- Work with senior engineering and product leaders in aligning on product roadmaps, specifications, and priorities.
As Engineering Manager you should have:
- At least ten years of total experience, with recent hands-on experience writing production level code (Python (preferred) / Java / C++ / Go)
- At least 3 years of experience managing software development teams with hands-on involvement in system architecture, design and performance
- Expertise in a cloud platform such as AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure
- Expertise in relational databases, such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with Django or with a similar web framework
