Our Engineering Managers are instrumental to the success of our engineering teams, and this is an incredible opportunity to play a key part in shaping SwissBorg's future. The position is within the Payments Team, which is responsible for facilitating the flow of funds in and out of the platform as fast as possible within regulatory guidelines. This team expects high operational continuity.

People Management
- Coach engineers of all levels and individuals facing any work-related challenges
- Be responsible for attracting, mentoring, supporting and retaining a team of top-notch engineers who design, build and support SwissBorg infrastructure
- Onboard new members
- Attract and retain new talent
- Ensure that our hiring processes are best aligned with the requirements
- Work closely with all Engineering Managers to create hiring plans
Delivery
- Drive the implementation of the roadmap and balance new features with technical debt
- Manage expectations and work closely with high-level stakeholders
- Ensure productivity by removing obstacles and creating a results-driven and high-performing engineering environment
- Plan and prioritize the team's roadmap, and champion team projects internally
- Monitor metrics to ensure that teams are hitting and are on target
- Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure that outputs and goals are aligned
- Own and create new processes
- Share opinions and input, with the ability to influence the direction of the engineering teams
