Full-Time Engineering Manager - Cloud Infrastructure

We’re seeking an Engineering Manager – Cloud Infrastructure to lead a globally distributed team of senior platform engineers. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping, scaling, and securing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring availability, resilience, and business continuity for the organisation and its subsidiaries.

This role sits within our Cybersecurity and Technical Infrastructure group and combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise. It’s an opportunity to create a lasting impact by driving global cloud strategies, investing in people, and fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of senior engineers, providing clear direction, coaching, and professional development.
• Drive cloud strategies and roadmaps that ensure security, resilience, and cost-effectiveness, aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee infrastructure design, automation, incident response, and recovery planning with a focus on resilience and business continuity.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple subsidiaries, balancing technical depth with business value.
• Foster a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and shared success, while managing team dynamics and conflict resolution with empathy and fairness.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, embedding best practices in cloud security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps/SRE.

What we’re looking for

• 10+ years’ experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Deep technical expertise across AWS, IaC, networking, cloud security, scalability, and resilience planning.
• Proven success as a people leader – you invest in your team, resolve conflicts constructively, and inspire growth.
• Strong understanding of inter-team relations in complex organisations with multiple subsidiaries.
• Commercial acumen and ability to define global strategies and roadmaps that balance risk, resilience, and return on investment.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into business value.
• A growth mindset – committed to continuous learning, improvement, and helping others thrive.
