Full-Time Engineering Manager - Credit Cycle Squad

What you will do:

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers.
• Hire and onboard technical talent.
• Own the technical vision and architecture for credit lifecycle management.
• Ensure system stability, data integrity, and scalability.
• Manage multiple development initiatives using Agile methodologies.
• Implement and enforce best practices for software development.
• Maintain rigorous security standards and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders.
• Communicate plans, progress, and risks to stakeholders.
• Lead production support and incident response.
• Establish and maintain robust observability practices.

Language Skills:

• Proficiency in English at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate).

Technical Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years managing high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong self-motivation and adaptability.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development as a software engineer, with significant experience in Java.
• Strong background in Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Experience developing secure and scalable microservices.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Experience with performance testing and monitoring tools.
• Technical expertise in Java and/or Golang, AWS, Terraform, containerization, testing, and code reviewing.
