Full-Time Engineering Manager, Frontend Platform

In this role, you’ll be focusing on foundational improvements to our frontend tech stack. You will also play a key role in shaping the culture of frontend engineering and talent at Vanta.

As an Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for setting strategy, leading your team to deliver results, growing and developing talented engineers, and cultivating a healthy, results-driven culture.

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers.
• Define and implement strategies for improvements in frontend infrastructure.
• Drive the adoption and integration of tools, services, and APIs.
• Stay abreast of emerging web and frontend technologies.
• Work closely with stakeholders to deeply understand developer and client needs.
• Design and refine processes that enhance team operations.
• Champion best practices for web clients and frontend stacks.

• 3+ years of experience managing technical teams of six or more engineers.
• Proven track record in building and improving frontend infrastructure and tooling for developers.
• Deep knowledge of modern development practices.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience in hiring, mentoring, and growing senior engineers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience planning, scoping, and executing on cross-org migrations.

• Experience leading a frontend or web-specific platform team.
• Experience leading senior and staff level engineers
