About the team: The New Ventures area focuses on innovation, developing new ventures and solutions. A key initiative is the Noa Notes solution, automating clinical notes during patient consultations using AI. This saves time and improves workflow efficiency.
Role: Engineering Manager for the Noa Medic area. Report to the Engineering Director and manage multiple teams. Focus on building high-performing teams for greenfield projects, supporting the area, and fostering team member development.
First six months: Handover of the Noa Notes project, transitioning it to other teams, and transforming the area for rapid building/releasing of new skills.
Managing the team: Leads a team of 8 senior software engineers, facilitates technical decisions, works closely with technical and product leaders, and fosters communication for alignment.
Managing the project: Develops project scopes, ensures technical feasibility, acts as hands-on project manager, ensures timely delivery, and manages risks.
Organizing the area: Supports the development of a platform and infrastructure strategy, and collaborates with Data Scientists/ML/Ops teams.
Developing people: Provides guidance, mentorship, and coaching, gives regular feedback, supports team member goals, assesses performance, and fosters a collaborative culture.
Skills and Experience: High sense of ownership, passion for building robust products, understanding of product/business metrics, leadership experience (R&D, AI, or related), proven track record in pioneering environments, strong team-building/mentorship skills, solid technological expertise, exceptional project management skills, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, highly autonomous/proactive approach.
