About the team: The New Ventures area is at the forefront of innovation, dedicated to pioneering new ventures and developing cutting-edge solutions that generate new revenue streams. A key focus is establishing a cohesive noa.ai ecosystem. Noa Notes is a flagship initiative automating clinical notes during patient consultations. It leverages AI to accurately extract medical information, generating structured notes, thus saving time and enhancing workflow.
Role: Seeking a strategic Engineering Manager for the New Ventures / Noa Medic area, reporting to the Engineering Director. Managing multiple teams and initiatives, focusing on high-performing teams for greenfield projects. Key responsibilities include supporting the organization of the entire area (staffing, process development, AI/ML platform), and fostering team member professional development. First six months focus on Noa Notes project handover, transition strategy, and transforming the area to enable rapid building/releasing of new Noa Skills.
Managing the team: Lead a team of 8 senior software engineers. Facilitate technical decisions aligning with requirements. Work closely with technical/product leaders to develop a technological and product strategy. Facilitate communication within the team and across areas for alignment on project goals and objectives. Manage external agencies supporting solutions development.
Managing the project: Develop project scopes/objectives involving stakeholders. Ensure technical feasibility. Act as a hands-on project manager and people leader. Ensure on-time, in-scope, and within-budget project delivery. Perform risk assessments and trade-off management. Support go-to-market strategy.
Organizing the area: Support platform and infrastructure strategy. Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML/Ops teams. Build strong relationships with stakeholders, tech leaders, product managers, legal & security teams.
Developing people: Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching. Provide regular feedback and assist team members in achieving career goals. Regularly assess, support, and action team member performance. Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture.
