Patient Bookings (PB) Team The Patient Bookings (PB) team ensures patients easily find and book doctors. We impact millions of users monthly, enabling smooth care journeys.
Our vision is seamless, omnichannel booking flows tailored to diverse user needs, including those with private insurance. We focus on every step, from availability to authentication, rebooking, and reducing drop-offs. Frictionless booking is fundamental to an excellent healthcare experience.
We constantly experiment and iterate based on data, user feedback – simplifying rebooking, reshaping availability presentation, removing unnecessary booking steps, and introducing smart calendar widgets. We monitor, test, and improve constantly.
Search Traffic Acquisition (STA) Team The Search Traffic Acquisition team makes Docplanner the go-to online healthcare resource. We leverage SEO, content strategy, and platform performance to attract and drive qualified patient traffic.
We take a data-driven approach to SEO growth, boosting Web Performance Optimization (WPO), Global Search Visibility (Core Web Vitals, SEO compliance, indexability and crawl optimization). We ensure compliance in all features, build end-to-end solutions for search strategies (blogs, authoring tools, content management), and support cross-functional projects like B2B web initiatives.
Role You will lead the Patient Bookings and Search Traffic Acquisition teams, reporting to the Engineering Director and closely collaborating with Product and Design leadership.
Your mandate: drive significant product impact through deep focus on conversion, UX, and operational excellence.
This role demands a strong product mindset, ownership over user outcomes, and the ability to iterate and ship quickly.
You’ll lead a team working on highly visible features and touchpoints. You’ll own both short-term experiments and long-term architectural evolutions (e.g., rebuilding the booking flow, authentication enhancements, insurance-aware search).
We’re seeking a partner, not just a manager. You'll play a critical role in shaping how millions of patients access healthcare.
What you will be doing:
- Managing the team (2 teams of 8-12 engineers)
- Facilitating technical decisions aligned with requirements
- Developing accurate technological & product strategies with team leaders
- Facilitating communication & alignment on project goals
- Managing external agencies
- Managing projects (scope, objectives, stakeholders, feasibility)
- Acting as hands-on project manager and people leader
