Patient Bookings (PB) Team
The Patient Bookings (PB) team ensures patients easily find and book doctors. They impact millions of users monthly on web and app, enabling smooth care journeys.
The team delivers seamless, omnichannel booking flows tailored to user needs, including those with private insurance. Focus is on every step of the funnel – from availability to authentication to rebooking optimization.
Search Traffic Acquisition (STA) Team
The Search Traffic Acquisition (STA) team makes Docplanner the go-to online healthcare destination for users seeking information or booking services.
Using data-driven approaches, the team boosts WPO (Web Performance Optimization), and improves Global Search Visibility (Core Web Vitals, SEO compliance, Indexability, Crawl optimization).
The team also ensures legal compliance, develops E2E solutions for search strategies (blogs, tools), supports cross-functional projects, and collaborates with Google on strategic initiatives.
Role
The Engineering Manager leads the Patient Bookings (PB) and Search Traffic Acquisition (STA) teams. The role reports to the Engineering Director and collaborates with Product and Design leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage teams of 8-12 software engineers.
- Lead technical decisions aligning with requirements.
- Develop technical and product strategy with team and product leaders.
- Facilitate communication and alignment on project goals.
- Manage external agencies.
- Develop project scopes and objectives with stakeholders.
- Act as hands-on project manager and people leader.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Conduct risk assessments and trade-off management.
- Support go-to-market strategy.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, tech leaders, product managers, and legal/security teams.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members.
- Assess, support, and manage team member performance.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture.
