Full-Time Engineering Manager (Water Design-Build)

AECOM is seeking an Engineering Manager (Water Design-Build), located anywhere in the United States. You will lead water supply, treatment, and infrastructure projects (e.g., water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, conveyance systems) using the latest technologies. This role contributes to AECOM's industry leadership in engineering and construction. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Design-Build water/wastewater projects.
• Develop and pursue upcoming design-build projects.
• Manage multi-discipline design teams through AECOM's design centers.
• Manage procurement of process equipment and subcontractors.
• Schedule projects, conduct VE/constructability reviews.
• Manage job cost reporting, budget control (EAC analysis).
• Demonstrate strong commercial and construction contract experience.
• Deliver projects on time and under budget.
• Direct engineering and construction teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Sanitary, Chemical Engineering or related field + 10+ years' experience, or demonstrated equivalency.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 20+ years' experience in water/wastewater projects.
• Progressive design-build, lump sum design-build, or CMAR project delivery methods experience.
• Strong project management experience, managing diverse teams.
• Negotiation, risk management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience managing design-build projects > $30M.
• DBIA certificate preferred.
• Experience with local/state regulatory agencies.
• Experience managing engineering and construction subcontractors.
• Competitive assessments and pricing analysis experience.
