NBCUniversal's Data & Legal Solutions team supports various enterprise functions.
The Product Owner supports legal and compliance functions (Legal Operations, Litigation & Compliance, Employment & Labor Law, Rights IP, Legal Affairs).
Responsibilities include understanding best practices in Product Management for Legal Operations & Tools, staying current with industry trends, and delivering tool adoption, improved user experience, simplified architecture, and compliant/secure solutions.
The Product Owner partners with Business, Legal, and Engineering teams for on-time roadmap delivery, builds/delivers internal KPIs, and owns the delivery of new technology (discovery, scope, defining phases, budget, vendor selection).
The role establishes and owns the support team for post-go-live support and solution improvements. All other duties as needed.
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years Product Management experience with On-Prem and/or SaaS solutions.
- Experience with Legal Operations/Technology.
- SDLC process expertise (scoping, iteration planning, user stories, acceptance criteria, rollout management, testing, defect management, issue resolution).
- Translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication (written/oral).
- Deep technical understanding for managing complex technical issues.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in relevant fields.
- Global Corporate Legal application experience in a multi-country environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills and detail-orientation.
- Ability to manage competing requests, build consensus, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Adherence to NBCUniversal project methodologies and change control processes.
- Willingness to work off-business hours/weekends.
Preferred Qualifications include Media/Advertising experience, Scrum Certification, experience with outsourced offshore resources, ability to overcome obstacles and resolve complex problems, influence without direct authority, experience relating complex information to technical/non-technical audiences, strong project management and leadership skills, strong character matching company values.
Remote Work: Fully remote position, eligible for company benefits.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $145,000
Interview: In-person interview might be required.
