CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a talented Environment Artist to create rocks, terrain, and geological formations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce photorealistic geological assets.
- Apply understanding of PBR, player navigation, and in-game metrics.
- Collaborate with Art Directors and Leads for visual consistency.
- Integrate assets into large-scale environments.
- Work with Technical and Texture Artists on materials and shaders.
- Support the production pipeline and achieve visual quality and performance benchmarks.
- Share knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent).
- Skilled in a major 3D modeling tool (Blender, 3DS Max, or Maya).
- Experience with digital sculpting in ZBrush.
- Knowledge of photogrammetry workflows and scan data.
- Understanding of PBR workflows and shader development.
- Grasp of lighting techniques and color theory.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self-driven and collaborative.
- Capable of estimating tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Communicative and respectful team player.
- Proficient in English.
- Enthusiasm for games and world-building.
