Full-Time Environmental Project Chemist/Chemistry Manager

Strong interpersonal and technical writing skills are critical. The candidate must be well-organized and able to manage multiple assignments while delivering quality products on time and within budget.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Data validation per DoD Data Validation Modules, EPA NFG, or EPA Regional Guidance.
2. Laboratory evaluation, selection, and coordination to ensure data meets technical requirements and project DQOs.
3. Coordination with field teams.
4. Development of data validation procedures.
5. Review of data validation reports.
6. Preparation of Data Usability Assessments (DUAs).
7. Supervision, mentoring, and training of staff.
8. Perform work within budget and schedule.
9. Regular communication with Project Managers.

Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS plus eight years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Chemistry or related field
• 15+ years of experience in environmental chemical laboratory analysis, data validation, and/or environmental consulting.
• Experience interpreting analytical methods and standard operating procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of USEPA analytical methods.
• Experience with validation of PFAS or dioxin/furan data
• Experience with analytical laboratory equipment (e.g., ICP, ICP-MS, HPLC, GC, and/or GC/MS)
• Experience with DoD Quality Systems Manual (QSM) Version 6.0
• Experience validating data in accordance with DoD and EPA NFG.
• Familiarity with Earth Soft's EQuIS.
