AECOM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join our team.
We are seeking candidates who will be able to contribute to the successful delivery of projects and promote growth in existing and new markets.
Ideal candidate will have:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing scope, schedule, and budget for mid to large-sized environmental projects
- Building strong client relationships
- Client and regulatory correspondence
- Technical report writing and review
- Health and safety stewardship (field visits, tracking)
- Analyzing solutions to atypical issues
- Preparing cost estimates and proposals
- Working effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Coordinating work schedules
- Quality control of tasks
- Mentoring junior staff
- Regional travel for project work and client meetings
- Performing and coordinating inspections (SPCC, SWPPP, Air, RCRA)
- Maintaining organized files and documentation
- Gathering and maintaining records (environmental sampling, operations & maintenance, inspections)
- Assisting with calculations, equipment setup, inspections, and documentation
- Communicating with site representatives
- Participating in other environment-related projects
- Intimate knowledge of environmental regulations, practices, and procedures
- Receiving and maintaining required safety training (OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER, 30-hr OSHA, client-specific, regulatory)
- Wearing personal protective equipment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Geology, or Engineering
- Demonstrated experience or equivalency
- US Citizenship
- State and Federal criminal history/security background check
- Availability for on-call duty
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of project management experience
- 6+ years of experience in environmental consulting
- Master’s Degree
- Experience managing projects with environmental compliance
- Experience working with regional environmental regulatory agencies
- Experience with wastewater operations, maintenance, and inspection
