AECOM is seeking a talented Environmental Project Manager for immediate employment in our Orange, CA office.
The role offers a hybrid work model, with flexibility to work from our various West coast office locations or remotely anywhere in the USA.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing projects, establishing objectives.
- Guiding staff, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Engaging clients regarding AECOM services.
- Providing staff mentorship.
- Delivering projects within specifications, budget, and schedule.
- Overseeing multiple projects (if applicable).
- Defining project scope and objectives.
- Managing all project phases.
- Predicting resource needs and managing resources.
- Providing technical oversight and quality control.
- Providing consistent project updates to stakeholders.
- Identifying, mitigating, and managing project risks.
- Managing complex clients and projects.
- Delivering planned profit margins.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in site investigation, remediation, project management, and business development (or equivalent).
- US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in the relevant fields.
- Licensed Professional Engineer or Geologist.
- Experience with California regulatory agencies.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
- PMP certification.
- Experience in regulator and stakeholder negotiations.
