Full-Time Environmental Project Manager

AECOM needs a middle to Senior Project Manager (PM V) for environmental remediation projects in Hawaii and Guam.

This Honolulu-based role involves managing large-scale remediation projects including:

• Managing a team of up to 10 people, including subcontractors.
• Projects of $10 million or more.
• Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and Remedial Actions for the Federal sector.

Responsibilities include:

• Overall project management administration
• Setting project objectives and policies
• Providing guidance to subordinate managers
• Enforcing company and project policies
• Liaison between AECOM and clients
• Ensuring project adherence to design, budget, and schedule through subordinate managers.
• Administering projects from budgeting/scheduling to procurement and contract closeout
• Significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned projects

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related discipline and 8+ years relevant experience or equivalent.
• US Citizen (access to DoD project sites)
• Ability to travel at least 10%
• Successful background and motor vehicle record checks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in environmental engineering or related field
• DBIDs pass for federal military installation access
• CERCLA and environmental science experience
• Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER and Supervisor certifications
• OSHA medical clearance
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Professional registration
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Technical report preparation
• Knowledge of State of Hawaii, Department of Health regulations
• DOD and CLEAN experience in Hawaii and Guam
• Project estimating experience (preferably environmental)
• Client and regulatory interaction experience
• Strong written and spoken communication (client presentation)
• Organization and time management skills
• Field work oversight of subcontractors
